Kelley Bowles

Kelley joined us in July 2017 as a multi-media journalist. She graduated from Illinois State University where she earned a degree in English- Publishing. While at Illinois State she was involved in the student newspaper The Vidette as a reporter and copy editor.

Upon graduation she returned to her hometown on Chicago's northwest side where she realized she wanted to pursue her love for journalism. She went on to attend DePaul University where she earned a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism. While a graduate student at DePaul, Kelley was a reporter and producer with the student news station, Good Day DePaul and was an assistant to NBC 5 Chicago's Carol Marin. She was a member of Marin's Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence where she did investigative reporting.

Born and raised in Chicago, Kelley enjoys frequently returning home to see her family and friends. When she's not reporting around the Quad Cities, she enjoys coffee, yoga, reading, spending time with her beloved pets and exploring her new surroundings.
