Pritzker opens Moline office, gets endorsement

Bustos: Pritzker's focus on whole state sets him apart

Billionaire J.B. Pritzker showed off his latest endorsement in his run to be the Illinois governor.

He spoke with Your Local Election Headquarters in Moline today. Pritzker opened a new campaign office there.

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos joined him to announce her endorsement of Pritzker earlier today.

She said Pritzker's focus on the whole state sets him apart from the other Democrats.

The candidate said creating jobs and improving early childhood education are among his priorities.

"I have had a number of experiences as a public servant both in private life and serving in the public sector and I think that is different," Pritzker said.

Pritzker also has an endorsement from Illinois comptroller Susana Mendoza. His rival Chris Kennedy has been endorsed by former Congressman Phil Hare of the Quad Cities.
