Did you know, if you get into a car accident, a small, yellow sticker can help save your life? The Yellow Dot Program is in place nationwide. Here's how it works. You fill out paperwork with vital health information, like drug allergies and put it in your glove box. Then, you put a yellow sticker on your car, letting authorities know there's information in your vehicle which could help save your life.
"It's a very low tech answer to a high tech problem. With the way things are today, yes with google and all the other stuff that's out there, you can get ahold of info, but there is so much info that you might not be able to get ahold of it instantly," said Trooper Jason Wilson, Illinois State Police.
