Kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley got a powerful lesson from a very young teacher.
Chris Cumberbatch is only 13-years-old but is already learning the importance of giving to the community.
He's spending his Summer teaching kids about renewable energy.
It's a lesson plan he came up with on his own and includes building a car made from a soda can.
The car runs off solar power,a project that is both fun and educational.
"This is a really helpful project to teach them about engineering and math and how the country is developing in different ways," said Cumberbatch, and it seems to be working.
"The kids want to know when he's coming back and can they build solar cars moving forward," said Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley President Tim Tolliver.
