Our weekend will kick off with bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills and it'll end snowy.

By the time you wake up Saturday morning, our temperatures should be a few degrees below zero and when you factor in the wind, wind chill values will be about -15° to -25°.

Sunny skies early Saturday will cloud over leading to snow chances spreading across Iowa Saturday evening.  Snow will begin in our area Saturday night and continue through Sunday evening.

It's still very likely that we could see around 3" or so of snow.

Warmer temperatures arrive next week.  Highs in the 30s early in the week will warm to the 40s late week.

Happy Valentine's Day weekend!
