A special RV will make its way across Iowa next year to celebrate communities and their pasts.

It's called Iowa History 101. The recreational vehicle features stories about people from the Hawkeye State.
It will make its way to visit all 99 counties. There will be special exhibits for each stop. American Pickers star Mike Wolfe announced the exhibit in LeClaire Tuesday.

"A lot of these small communities have been suffering with the loss of jobs and machines taking the jobs of men. So its difficult going into a lot of these small towns. It's going to be nice to go in with a good message," said Wolfe.

It's a joint venture with the Iowa Department of Economic Development. The RV will make the rounds next year to celebrate Iowa's 160th birthday. A preliminary route will be unveiled this December.
