One man is in custody accused of robbing a Bettendorf credit union.

The robbery happened at the Ascentra Credit Union on August 22.  A man entered the credit union and gave a teller a paper bag with a note written on it demanding money.

The suspect fled with between $1,000 and $10,000 in cash.

Police say fingerprints left at the scene led them to Anthony Brown of Bloomington, Illinois.

Brown was taken into custody on Tuesday.  He is being held in the McLean County Jail awaiting extradition back to Iowa.
