Camp Kesem provides support for families with cancer

Student-driven non-profit offers support for kids whose parents have cancer

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Camp Kesem is a college-student-driven, non-profit organization that provides a free, week-long summer camp for children whose parents have cancer and year-round support.

The group's chapter at Augustana College serves children in the Quad Cities Area and throughout Iowa.

Their largest fundraiser of the year is coming up on April 1st. 

It will be their fifth annual Make the Magic event at the Budweiser Champions Club inside Modern Woodmen Park. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $50 dollars.
