Former housing programs manager Roy DeWitt was arrested Wednesday on eight invasion of privacy charges.
Davenport Police said Thursday, 46-year-old Roy DeWitt was arrested Wednesday in Marion, Iowa.
Roy DeWitt was suspended and then fired from the City of Davenport in March, pending an investigation.
Police said on March 14, they started an invasion of privacy investigation after a spy camera was found in a locked employee-only bathroom at Heritage High Rise.
According to the affidavit, he recorded video of eight people and would play it back for arousal and gratification.
Police report the first incident happened in January 2017.
Local 4 News called Davenport Mayor Frank Klipsch but said he couldn't comment because it was a personnel matter.
