Sixteen students from China are getting the chance to see the Quad Cities.

On Thursday, they toured Black Hawk College in Moline as part of the Rivers as Bridges 2014 program

It's a stop on a two week tour to learn about the Mississippi River region in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

“We just don't have enough chance to learn about these kinds of things in China,” said Eric Miao, student. “So it's my great honor to learn this kind of knowledge in the states.”

“America can provide the best education and can give me the fantastic view of the latest technology,” said Dwight Ma, student.

This is the third year Black Hawk College has hosted students on the Rivers as Bridges tour.
