Congressman Dave Loebsack hosts town hall

He talked about healthcare concerns people face

KNOXVILLE, Iowa - Representative Dave Loebsack held a town hall in Knoxville Iowa Saturday to talk healthcare.

People attended the town hall said they were very concerned about healthcare for veterans and wanted to make sure that measures are in place for them in the future.

With the uncertainty, both here and on the national front, it was something Congressman Loebsack said this is certainly a problem he wants to help fix.

"As long as there's nothing good  with respect to being a replacement I cannot vote for that," Loebsack said. "Repeal should be off the table, we should fix what we have has worked for tens of millions of Americans, it can work better but we've got to find those solutions and there are solutions out there," Loebsack said.

Another topic was getting services to help veterans in rural areas.
