Bettendorf rises 7.6 percent, according to Census Bureau

The Quad Cities is growing, but only on one side of the river.

New census data shows an increase in residents on the Iowa side.

Davenport has grown by 2.9 percent in the past six years.

Bettendorf grew even more 7.6 percent.

But it's a different story in Illinois.

Rock Island lost 2.1 percent of its population, and in Moline, that number is down 2.8 percent.
