BETTENDORF, iowa - Many kids put their talents to the test today in the annual RipRoar Triathalon.
The Bettendorf Family YMCA hosted the event.
Kids six to 15-years-old were put in groups based on their age.
They swam 50 to 200 meters, biked two to six miles and ran .5 to two miles depending on their age.
After years and months of training, the kids were just excited to be apart of the triathlon.
How do y'all feel about participating today?
"confident, i feel confident."
"this is my first triathlon and i just feel good about doing it."
"I feel good too because I've never done one."
The triathlon is an effort of Scott County Family YMCA to encourage kids to be physically active and stay healthy.
