Fire destroys Donahue home

The Donahue fire chief says there was no way to save the structure

DONAHUE, Iowa. - A Donahue, Iowa home is destroyed after a fire ripped through the house Thursday morning.

The home on River Camp Road went up in flames around 9:30 AM.

The Donahue fire chief says by the time they arrived there was no way to save the structure.

No one was home at the time of the fire, but fire crews say they believe pets may have been inside.

At this time investigators don't know how it started.
