Davenport  firefighters have some big shoes to fill: their own.
They showed up at Wednesday night's River Bandits game asking fans to 'Fill the Boot.'
The campaign that collects cash in their boots is a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Firefighters will also be at Davenport's Hy-Vee and Fareway stores on Friday from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. And Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hy_Vee stores only.
Shoppers at the Freight House Farmers Market can also donate. Firefighters will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
