Galesburg will get a multi-million-dollar loan to replace lead-contaminated water lines.
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will loan the city four-million dollars. That money will be used to replace private water lines tainted with lead.
If you think your water lines need to be replaced you can fill out an application with the city. Low income households with children have the highest priority. The applications are found online and are due by December 20th.
