Gilda's Club hosts Labyrinth Workshop

Event aims to help people cope with loss.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Gilda's Club Quad Cities is hosting a Labyrinth Workshop on Thursday, October 26 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. It will be at Gilda's Club located at 1234 E River Drive in Davenport. Melissa Wright with Gilda's Club joined FOX 18's Brittany Price in studio to explain how the event can be a strong tool for people. Labyrinths have a history of being used by people trying to make health-care decisions, recover from a loss, find calm and peace, decide next steps in life, and deal with stress. Often mistaken as mazes, labyrinths are patterns that have one way in and one way out. Mazes typically have obstacles throughout. Anyone impacted by cancer is welcome to attend this free of charge event. Registration is required. For more details and to register, please call Gilda's Club at 563-326-7504 or email gc@gildasclubqc.org.
