Illinois college campuses to become smoke free

The state's Smoke-Free College Campus act goes into effect on July 1st.

Smoking on Illinois college campuses will soon be a thing of the past. The state's Smoke-Free College Campus act goes into effect this Wednesday, July 1st. 
 
The law prohibits smoking or the use of other tobacco products on all state and university campuses.
 
Black Hawk College is supporting the smoking ban including inside vehicles on college grounds.
