Illinois House lawmakers override Heroin bill veto

The heroin bill is the only veto override to pass so far.

Illinois lawmakers were back in session today.
 
Democrats are trying to override some of Governor Bruce Rauner's vetoes. However, the House voted to override the Governor's partial veto of a measure to battle heroin abuse.
 
The 105 to five vote rejected Rauner's removal of Medicaid coverage from the measure.
 
The heroin bill is the only veto override to pass so far.
