Largest outdoor farm event under way in Illinois

Exhibitors showing off how they can help shape the future of farming

DECATUR, Illinois (WCIA) - The nation's largest outdoor farm event is now under way. The latest in agricultural technology is on display at what farmers know as "The Super Bowl of Agriculture."

Exhibitors from all over the world are showing off how they can help shape the future of farming. This year marks the 64th annual event. Doors open at 8 a.m. each day and close at 5 pm.

Even if you're not a farmer, there are plenty of things to see at the 2017 Farm Progress Show, including tractors, combines, seed protection products, farm supplies of all sorts, and much more.

There will be live demonstrations of some equipment throughout each day. Make sure you pay mind to the roads nearby the Farm Progress Show, as there will be quite a bit of traffic.
