Day 2 of the trial for a Davenport man accused of killing his parents resumed this morning, focusing on the evidence collected from the house of Kevin and Donna Freese.
Sean Freese is facing two first degree murder charges relating to the deaths of Kevin and Donna in October 2016.
Brianna Anderson, a Davenport Police Crime Scene Investigator, laid out the evidence she collected from the house.
It included six shell casings in the master bedroom, firearms and related materials in another bedroom and photos from a neighbor's house that looks on the Freese's home. The neighbor heard gunshots just before 4 a.m. the morning of the incident.
The jurors also heard from the 911 dispatcher who received Sean Freese's 911 call saying he found his parents and a McDonald's employee who saw the defendant at the restaurant.
The trial will resume following a recess for lunch at 1:30 p.m.
