Local 4 News Update: January 18, 2017

People living in Henry County are on alert for the possibility for a levee breach.
Rising river levels due to recent heavy rain, combined with an ice jam moving down the Green River, has lead to high water in the area.
The levee in risk of breaching is along the Green River - just upstream of Rock River.
Flooding of nearby neighborhoods may happen if the levee is breached.

Rock Island democrats will hold a rally this evening to show support for topics on the possible GOP chopping block.
That includes health care, labor laws, and women's reproductive rights.
The rally gets underway at 5:30p p.m. at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall in Rock Island.
Davenport's Committee of the Whole will hold a public hearing tonight on the proposed Sterilite development.
The city is proposing a  discount on property taxes, on the new facility that could amount to $50-60 million over the next 15 years.
The meeting starts at 5:30, at city hall.
Davenport PD is in the process of hiring new officers.
Tonight is the first of three workshops this week.
It gets started at 6:30 p.m. at the Davenport Police Department on Harrison Street.
