3rd ward special election, MLK center changes, boy bit by dog, Day of Caring

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Stories we're following at Local 4 News:

 

Today, voters in Davenport will narrow down the field in the race for the next 3rd ward alderman. Two of the six candidates will advance to the July 11th special election. Polls close at 8 o'clock tonight. Details.  

 

The Martin Luther King Center in Rock Island wants to open 3 of its 11 board seats to non-Rock Island residents. Carrie Kuehn reports.  

 

The family of a 9-year-old boy attacked by a dog in the Davenport skate park hopes to learn today if he'll need a series of rabies shots. Krista Burris reports

 

Davenport police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who showed a knife and demanded drugs on May 23rd, at the Walgreen's on East Kimberly Road. Details here.
