BETTENDORF, Iowa - Stories we're following at Local 4 News:


Officers say 38-year old Jessica Soteco was struck and killed while walking on a Bettendorf street this weekend. Latest.  


The Bettendorf school board will get an update today on $16.7m plans to rebuild Grant Wood Elementary rather than just update the school - along with Mark Twain and Thomas Jefferson elementaries.


The public is invited to the Scott County Civil Service Commission's meeting at 4 p.m. to discuss some of Sheriff Tim Lane's proposals - including restructuring of the captain's position, new deputy hiring timelines, and testing dates.
