Man Show, Harleys enjoyed by everyone

Wiebler's Harley Davidson Man Show is this weekend at the QCCA Expo Center

This weekend the QCCA Expo Center will be filled with hundreds of vendors as the Wiebler's Harley Davidson Man Show takes over.

The event is something both genders can enjoy.

Riding motorcycles isn't just for the boys anymore. Harley Davidson motorcycle riding is rich in tradition of families riding together.

It's got a rich history and tradition and for many generations of Harley enthusiasts, it has been handed down for many years.

But as a woman, new to the biking world, there are many clothing and safety options to consider before even revving the engine.

I embraced the role of a biker chick to learn myself what was needed to be safe on the open road.

As you can see in the video above, I am dressed and ready to get on a bike and ride. But some of the things I have on you may not realize why I am necessarily wearing them.

Gloves, helmet, boots, jacket... but we are missing chaps. Obviously a helmet keeps you safe, but what necessarily do chaps do when you are riding?

Find out that and more in the video above. I loved the experience, loved the ride... it was such a fun time and it was so exhilarating.

Next year Harley Davidson is celebration its 115 years. They are offering more customization options than ever and more bikes for men and women to choose from.

But to the owners of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, it is more than just a bike. Really, to Harley Davidson owners it is more than a motorcycle, it's a lifestyle, a culture they live and breathe it. So it's pretty cool stuff.

And this weekend you can attend the Wiebler's Harley Davidson Man Show and experience firsthand what owning a Harley is all about.

The Man Show runs from 4-8 p.m. on Friday night. Active military and veterans get in free that day. It picks up again Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and goes Sunday from 4-10 p.m.
