With some relatively quiet and close to normal weather coming up over the next week it's a good time to take stock of the many weather records broken recently in the Quad Cities...
At different times this month we've broken records for snow, rain and cold temperatures in the Quad Cities.
Here's a look at some of the records set this month in the Quad Cities:
Nov 17 - record rainfall of 2.13" broke the old record of 1.02" in 1950.
Nov 20 - broke the record for daily snow when 2.9" fell before midnight.
Nov 21 - broke the record for daily snow when 7.0" fell in the morning.
Nov 20/21 - broke the record for biggest snow storm ever in Nov with a 2-day total of 9.9".
Nov 22 - broke the record for coldest temperature ever on this date. Low was 1°.
Nov 27 - record rainfall of 1.82" broke the old record which was 0.91".
This is also 1 of the top 5 wettest months of November in the Quad Cities!
Over the next couple weeks we should see quieter weather and may not break any more records in the near future!
