More than a dozen young artists are working to bring the Freight House to life.
It's all part of the Quad City Arts Metro Arts summer program. For five weeks young artist around the area will work on art projects in groups.
"If you have too much time on your hands you can get bored or do things that may be not productive for next school year," said lead artist, Sarah Robb. "It creates productivity for life, for future goals."
Murals will be painted on the doors of the Freight House facing River Drive as well as the front and back of the stage area. The Metro Arts program runs until July 15th.
