Moline mayoral candidate Stephanie Acri continued campaigning Friday, meeting with people for a coffee chat.
Acri, who is Moline's current Alderman At-Large, held the event at Milltown Coffee in Moline. She will be a write-in candidate in the primary election on February 28th. Acri says she's holding the meetings to figure out the best path for the city's future.
"I need feedback from the community of what their concerns are, what are the priorities of the residents so that I can have a better understanding of where their tax dollars should be invested," said Acri.
Acri will continue hosting chats at Milltown Coffee each Friday morning for the next seven weeks. As a write-in candidate, she needs to be one of the top two in terms of votes in the primary election to get her name on the general election ballot.
