A teenager accused of killing one man and seriously wounding another was in a Rock Island County courtroom for his arraignment this morning.

LaMaree Wilson-Neuleib, 17, is accused of killing 19-year-old Zac Phillips and wounding 18-year-old Eric Roberson when he shot them on May 20th while they sat in a car on 53rd Street in Moline.

A third person in the back seat of the car was not harmed.  Wilson-Neuleib was captured nearby and police recovered a gun they say was used in the shooting.

Today Wilson-Neuleib appeared with his defense attorney and pleaded not guilty to the charges.  His attorney also objected to expanded media coverage of the case, which the judge denied.

Wilson-Neuleib's next court appearance is on July 2nd.  He remains in custody on a $2 million bond.
