Morning 4: train vs car, airport disaster drill, robbery suspect sought, groove concert series

HILLSDALE, Ill. - Stories we're following at Local 4 News on Thursday, August 24, 2017 


+ A vehicle was struck by a train in Hillsdale, Illinois. It happened this morning on 38th Avenue North near the Tyson plant. We are waiting on police for word on injuries and more details


+ A disaster drill with a simulated plane crash is currently underway at the Quad City International Airport until about 10:30 a.m. The FAA requires the airport conducts the drill every 3 years. Briana Collier reports. 


+ Bettendorf police are looking for the man who held up the Great Southern Bank inside the Hy-Vee on Devils Glen Road. The robbery sent three schools on lockdown. See the security camera images here
