Some kids held their own Olympic games at the Quad City Botanical Center Sunday.
It's called "the Olympic Games, Garden Style."
Kids could a play a variety of games including, boat and squirt gun races.
Families also got to try some new food.
They had different types of hot dog toppings from around the world.
The marketing and special events coordinator says it's a great way to get kids moving.
"It's important for them to get out, to get active, to learn how to compete, and to come here with their families is just a ton of fun. You know, right before they go back to school, it's nice to let off a little of extra steam and end the summer off right," said Ryan Wille.
This was the first "Olympic Games, Garden Style."
Staff says they hope to host the event again in the future.
