Palmer College of Chiropractic expansion plans may lead to historic homes being demolished

A hearing is set for August 1 with the city's plan and zoning commission

DAVENPORT, Iowa. - Palmer College of Chiropractic plans on improving their campus.

This is part of a 10+ year plan for the college.

It includes the potential demolition of at least 12 houses within the historic Cork Hill district in Central Davenport.

The first step is a hearing with Davenport's Plan and Zoning Commission, set to take place on August 1.

It will then be presented to City Council, who will decide on whether or not to move forward.
