Police chase ends in arrest of Davenport man

Davenport man charged with possession and reckless driving

BETTENDORF, Iowa -  A Davenport man is behind bars after a car chase ended in his arrest.

Trashun Hickman is being held in Scott County Jail on charges that include reckless driving and possession with intent to deliver.

Bettendorf police say an officer was investigating suspicious activity involving a car at the Life Fitness Center on Middle Road on Monday around 11:30 a.m.

When the officer tried to approach the car, the 22-year-old drove off.

Hickman lost control and crashed a short time later.

Officers then chased him on foot until they finally took him into custody.

A female passenger was also in the car with Hickman.

She was not charged.
