Popular local breakfast restaurant gets big boost from Rock Island

Rock Island City Council approves restaurant funding

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Rock Island City Council approved plans Monday night to help the QC Coffee and Pancake house located on 3rd Avenue. 

Owners Jose and Sara Zepeda will get $105,000 dollars to help re-do the restaurant's facade, repair the roof and update the kitchen. 

The money is a combination of a grant, a loan and TIF financing.
