A new Pro Football Hall of Fame traveling exhibit is in the Quad Cities at the Putnam Museum in Davenport for Super Bowl weekend.
"Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame" opens Saturday.
This touring collection includes game-worn jerseys and gear, interactive exhibits and a section dedicated to the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.
Among the sports mementos are a Vince Lombardi Trophy, Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders' game-worn jersey from 1997 when he became the third player in history to break the 2,000-yard rushing mark and the 1892 accounting ledger from football's first paid player that is regarded as pro football's "birth certificate."
We got a sneak peek Friday before it opens this weekend. We'll share what we saw with you on Local 4 News at 4.
