A former Bettendorf and University of Iowa wrestler has pleaded guilty to burglary charges.

Logan Ryan, 19, was arrested along with two other members of the Iowa wrestling team early on the morning of March 18th near Marion, Iowa.  Officers were called to the Hunters Ridge addition around 1 A.M. for a call of a theft in progress.

Witnesses gave police a description of a suspect vehicle, which was later stopped.  Arrested were the driver, Ross Lembeck, Ryan, and a third man, Seth Gross.

Lembeck is charged with drunk driving, and Gross with interference with official acts for fighting with officers.  All three are charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Police tell Local 4 News that the trio were in possession of a number of items believed to have been stolen in several area burglaries.

The University suspended the wrestlers indefinitely.  At the time of their arrests, UI wrestling coach Tom Brands said "I am extremely disappointed with the decision-making of these three young men."
A sentencing date for Ryan has not yet been set.
