Riders head next to Algona, Iowa

SPENCER, Iowa - The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa is now entering day two.

 

Thousands of riders are waking up this morning at the Clay County Fairgrounds for the 41st annual event.

 

They dipped their tires in the Missouri River in Orange City yesterday, and rode over 60 miles to get to Spencer.

 

Today, they're headed another 60+ miles to Algona.

 

Carie Kuehn is following RAGBRAI riders along the 411-miles route to Lansing, Iowa

 

She's on her way to one of the largest grottos in the world in West Bend.
