RAGBRAI is less than two months away and the Quad Cities is getting pumped about the annual ride.

On Tuesday evening, a rally was held at the Freight House in Davenport.

Davenport RAGBRAI committee members were on hand to answer questions, and sign up riders and volunteers.

The Quad City Bicycle Club was also there to offer tips for RAGBRAI riders, reminding them the weekend also falls the same day as the BIX 7 Race.

"There will be 40,000 people coming into downtown Davenport that day, so we're going to have a lot of activity that day," said Jessica Waytenick, Davenport RAGBRAI commitee.

RAGBRAI is July 19th-July 25th.
About 30 bike riders are pre-riding the route starting in Sioux City this week, and ending at Davenport's Credit Island this Saturday.
