Illinois and Iowa communities along the Mississippi River will be seeing rapid rises this weekend and minor to moderate flooding next week.

This is result of several days of heavy rain falling across the upper Midwest.  We've seen anywhere from seven to fourteen inches of rain across northern Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Moderate flooding is forecast along the Mississippi River for Rock Island, New Boston, Keithsburg, Gladstone, and Burlington.

Minor flooding is expected for Fulton, Camanche, Le Claire, Illinois City, and Muscatine.

All of these projections could change early and next week as more rain falls.

If you live along the Mississippi, please keep up on the latest hydrologic forecast.
