Saint Ambrose students take part in Clothesline Project

DAVENPORT, Iowa - It's a project to help domestic violence survivors speak out against abuse.
On Thursday, Saint Ambrose University invited students and the public to create t-shirts for the Clothesline Project.
The shirts display messages and artwork about survivors' stories.
Organizers say it's a way for survivors to take back their story from abusers.
"This is a chance to give the story back to the survivor and give them a chance to tell their story in their own words," said Katy Strzepek, director of women & gender studies.
