Search continues for escapee

Police continue to search for a prisoner who escaped a transport vehicle on I-80 near Princeton..
 
Joshua Drinnon was last seen heading north in a field near the westbound Great Sauk Trail rest area around 5 p.m. Wednesday. He is described as 35-year-old white male, 6'1'', 200 lbs, bald, blue eyes, wearing white t-shirt and red wind suit pants.
 
Drinnon was incarcerated for aggravated robbery. He was picked up in Blountville, TN. His transport destination is unknown at this time. 
 
Patrol troopers, air operations and investigators are searching the area. Princeton Police and Bureau County Sheriff are also using K9 units and tactical teams to the search area.
 
Residents in the area are encouraged to lock all vehicles, buildings and residences. Please alert authorities to any suspicious activity. If Drinnon is spotted, do not attempt to capture him and immediately call the police.
 
The Great Sauk Trail rest areas on I-80, both east and west bound, have been reopened while officers continue to conduct roving patrols searching for Drinnon.
