Shots fired leads to chase, arrests

Two men and one juvenile were arrested Thursday night after a shots fired call in Davenport.

The call came in around 9:45 in the 1500 block of Brady Street.

A vehicle was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed and after a short pursuit officers were able to get it stopped in the area of Brady and Rusholme.

Fredlee Bateman and Edwin Goodwin Jr., both 18, were arrested.

Bateman was arrested on a warrant for escape from the Residential Corrections Facility.

Goodwin was arrested on a warrant for operating without owner's consent.

The 17-year-old driver was also arrested and charged with several traffic violations.

Police were able to recover shell casings from the area.  An unoccupied parked car was hit but no one was injured.
