The latest storm system to move across the Mississippi and Illinois Valleys Wednesday and Wednesday night brought anywhere from around a tenth of an inch of rain to as much as four inches.

Officially, in the Quad Cities, Moline picked up 1.52" and Davenport received 2.10".

While we were spared widespread severe storms, that wasn't the case across Indiana and Ohio.

A rash of tornadoes hit central and northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio Wednesday afternoon.

Kokomo, Indiana, was one of the hardest hit areas. The Storm Prediction Center had 42 tornado reports (many of those reports were of the same of tornado) in those two states.
