The average highs and lows this time of the year are 63° and 42° in the Quad Cities.
As you know from being outside Monday, it felt like summer and it's still unseasonably warm as we start the day Tuesday.
In the Quad Cities Monday, we hit a record high for the date of 89°. That was more than 25° above average.
It was also the warmest it's been this late in the year!
While today is already very warm (upper-70s at midnight), a cold front will bring us cooler temperatures.
High today will be around 74° and around 70° Wednesday.
Much cooler air arrives for Thursday and Friday with highs around 60° and lows in the 30s to around 40°.
