Three teens arrested in connection to stolen vehicle in Davenport

The vehicle was reported stolen Monday morning.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - At around 11:45 a.m. Monday, Davenport police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of East 14th and Kuel St. 

According to Davenport police, a resident reported a vehicle being abandoned by several teens. 

Upon arrival, officers determined the vehicle was reported stolen from the area of 2100 Main Street in Davenport Monday morning.

Officers in the area located three juveniles and connected them to the stolen vehicle. The teens, 16-year-old males, have been arrested and charged with Theft 2nd Degree. 

Two of the three juveniles were placed in the Scott County Detention Center, and the third juvenile was listed as an active runaway out of Illinois and turned over to Illinois authorities.
