Tracy Koranda no longer serving as Moline City Clerk

Her attorney will not say why the change was made

MOLINE, Ill. - The attorney for former Moline City Clerk Tracy Koranda say she no longer holds that position.

Her attorney John Doak has confirmed she is no longer employed by the city. He is not allowed to say when the change was made or why she is no longer Moline's clerk. Doak is representing her in her lawsuit against the city. Koranda was placed on administrative leave back in January. She was then in court in February seeking an injunction to block her suspension. At that time the judge said she needed to file a clearer complaint before he could make a decision. She was placed on administrative leave following a controversy. In December Stephanie Acri and Bob Vogelbaugh's applications for mayor were rejected for missing page numbers. They blamed Koranda for giving them paperwork that didn't have space for those page numbers.
