Two from Bettendorf die in Plane Crash

The plane crashed in Kentucky, 80 miles from Nashville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Two people from Bettendorf have died after a plane crash in Kentucky.

Authorities say Dominic and Dianne Giammetta, both from Bettendorf, were flying from Davenport to Muscle Shoals, AL.

It went down about 80 miles northwest of Nashville, TN Friday. 

First responders say the wreckage from the plane was beyond recognizable. The crash is still under investigation. 

Dr. Dianne Giammetta practiced at Unity Point Health Trinity.

The Unity Point Health CEO says:
