Exploring the Hawkeye State without going very far, that's what the University of Iowa Mobile Museum is all about.
The bus rolled through Bettendorf this afternoon. It showcased Iowa's role in space exploration and the way of life in Iowa during the World War II era.
"We promote cutting edge research at the university that is ongoing," said organizer, JC Gillett. "We bring one of a kind artifacts that just sit in the collections on campus that don't get out and deserve to."
The Mobile Museum heads to Dubuque next. It's on tour through October.
