Veterans welcomed home after 40th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities

100 vets from World War II, Korea and Vietnam toured D.C.

A group of local veterans is back home after touring the nation's capitol on Thursday.

Dozens of people were there to welcome the veterans home from Washington D.C. at the Quad City International Airport in Moline. 

The 40th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities flew almost 100 vets from World War II, Korea and Vietnam. 

Honor Flight of the Quad-Cities has two more flights planned for the fall.
