A Davenport woman is facing multiple charges after police say she injured another in a fight and attacked officers.

Police were called to the Ramada hotel in Bettendorf shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday for a report of a fight in the lobby.

When officers arrived they say they saw Shalena Carr, 29, assaulting another woman.  According to police reports, Carr had hit and bit the victim, and tore chunks of her hair out when officers tried to pull her off the woman.

Carr asked to be taken to the hospital and while there refused to take a breathalyzer test despite admitting to being drunk.

When officers tried to place her in handcuffs Carr allegedly resisted by holding on to the hospital bed.  Once in cuffs, she had to be carried out to a squad car.

While officers were carrying Carr out of the hospital, she allegedly kicked one in the ribs, head butted another in the face and cut his finger.

After being secured in the back of the police car Carr tired to kick out the windows, so she was placed in ankle restraints as well.

Police say Carr spit on several officers and a corrections officer at the Scott County Jail, and was combative with jail staff as well.

Carr is charged with six counts of assault on a police officer, assault with injury, disorderly conduct, interference with official acts, and intoxication.  She has since bonded out of the Scott County Jail.
